As part of the Project, ‘Save One Life’ prosecuted by Deniz Feneri, Hüseyin in 9 years old received his power wheelchair which he needed.
As part of the Project, ‘Save One Life’ prosecuted by Deniz Feneri, Hüseyin in 9 years old received his power wheelchair which he needed.
Hüseyin is both mute and diagnosed that he has a muscle disease in born. The treatment of the disease started in Istanbul and when his parents broken up, he forced to move to Bartın where he lives with his mother and brother.
Taking therapy in order to have muscles strong enough standing up under doctor control, he is using a special apparatus which helps him to walk leaning to the walls. His mother Fatma Hanım tells that ‘I have not paid whole amount of the apparatus and that is difficult for me, but anyway it’s a priceless feeling to see him walking even he got help from the walls.’
Benevolent people hearing the call of the mother who wants to take his son to the doctor to have therapy, make him socialize and feeling life around him gathered together to provide a power wheelchair which definitely will reduce the obstacles Hüseyin and his parent faced. The benefactors in short period of time succeeded to collect the amount of money to deposit the debt of the apparatus and besides to buy a power wheel chair for the family that has not got any income apart from disability living allowance.
Within the scope of project ‘Save One Live’ prosecuted by Deniz Feneri, it’s aimed to provide financial support for those who need certain amount of money in order to able to get retired and having right to get pension or for their health expenses. Last year 23 people utilized of this project valued at 116.200 ₺ for different reasons like health, prosthesis, premium payment, home construction and so on.
