Being located in the western part of Africa, Gana gained its independency in 1957. The rich goldfields it has are being exploited by British Kingdom for a long time.
Consisting of many ethnic and religious groups in Gana, Muslim community is the half part of its population. Compulsory schooling in the country is 9 years, and youths below 14 ages are %38 of total population

Deniz Feneri has been in Gana in the last eid ul-adha in 2014, and noticed that children of Gana have got many troubles. In their visiting to schools in Gana, our volunteers have been asked pen, notebook, stattioanary materials the most.
Deniz Feneri would like to prepare a stationary set for 5000 students in Gana which includes one school bag, six notebooks, two pens, six pencils, a rubber, a ruler, a sharpener.
Every set costs 15 TL.
