Throughout the year 100,000 Family Food Package Project

1. Project Purpose

On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the Deniz Feneri Association is launching a comprehensive social responsibility project aimed at transforming the enduring spirit of human kindness into sustainable social solidarity. Within the scope of this project, the goal is to deliver aid packages designed to meet basic food and hygiene needs to 100,000 families in need across Turkey throughout the entire year.

The project aims not only to provide essential support but also to strengthen the culture of cooperation, promote a timeless spirit of sharing, increase the participation of individual and corporate donors in charitable activities, and create a continuous movement of kindness nationwide.

Through the efforts carried out in this context, social awareness will be raised, and families in need will be enabled to maintain their lives in a more peaceful and secure manner every day of the year.




2. Project Goals

The project aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • To deliver Food aid packages to 100,000 families in need across Turkey.

  • To establish a powerful aid and solidarity network simultaneously across all 81 provinces.

  • To ensure continuous engagement on social media and digital platforms throughout the 365 days of year.

  • To create a collective movement of kindness in collaboration with artists, academics, media members, NGOs, and business world representatives.

  • To strengthen sustainable partnerships with both corporate and individual donors.

3. Project Scope

Within the scope of the project, aid packages consisting of food and hygiene products will be prepared and distributed throughout Turkey during the year.

The distribution process is based on on-site visits to families identified through social evaluations conducted by field teams. A widespread distribution network will be established nationwide, covering city centers, districts, and rural areas.

The project is not limited to aid distribution; it will also be conducted as a social responsibility campaign that generates high visibility and awareness. In this regard, it aims to reach large audiences with the contributions of artists, social media content creators, academics, journalists, and non-governmental organizations.

4. FoodAid Package Content

The prepared Food aid packages are planned to meet the basic needs of a family for the year. The packages include:

  • Essential food products

  • Cleaning and hygiene materials

  • Treats for children (such as chocolate, biscuits, etc.)

Through this content, while supporting the daily living needs of households, it is also intended for children to share in the spiritual and social joy of communal life throughout the year.





5. Implementation Method and Process Management

5.1 Social Evaluation and Family Selection

As a result of field studies and social evaluations conducted across Turkey, families in genuine need are meticulously identified. Justice, transparency, and the priority of needs are taken as the basis for the family selection process.

5.2 Logistics and Distribution

Prepared aid packages are delivered directly and on-site through local teams, volunteers, and representative offices. In areas with difficult access, regional teams are assigned to ensure the uninterrupted execution of the distribution process.

5.3 Media and Social Interaction

Throughout the project, daily content will be shared via social media accounts themed "The City and Human." Within these posts, the following will be featured every day:

  • A promotion of a sponsor or stakeholder

  • Current donation and distribution information

  • Live broadcasts and calls for donations

Communication efforts conducted on national media, digital platforms, and social media channels will increase the project's visibility and encourage social participation.

6. Stakeholders and Supporters

The project is implemented as a joint movement of kindness carried out together with:

  • Artists

  • Social media content creators

  • Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)

  • Business world representatives and sponsors

Each stakeholder contributes to the expansion and sustainability of the project.

7. Project Timeline

  • Start: The first day of Ramadan, with a press release.

  • Implementation Period: Throughout the year.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: Via weekly distribution and donation reports.

8. Expected Outcomes

With this project, it is aimed to:

  • Meet the basic needs of tens of thousands of families in need throughout one month.

  • Strengthen the awareness of social solidarity and cooperation.

  • Reach wider audiences with the Deniz Feneri Association’s 30-year legacy of kindness.

  • Reinforce lasting and sustainable collaborations with corporate and individual donors.
