Project 1: Urgent support for families affected by the lockdown
Around 75% of the Jerusalemites work in areas which have been completely cut off during the lockdown, including daily workers, craftsmen and merchants in the Old City and its surroundings. The Jerusalem villages mostly affected by the lockdown suffer chronic unemployment and scarcity in production opportunities after the Separation Wall had isolated them from Jerusalem.
The lockdown weeks have exacerbated the suffering of the Jerusalemites who are already suffering from the occupation and its policy of heavy taxes and fines.
What will we do in Life for Jerusalem campaign?
We will provide urgent financial support for families who have lost their source of income during the lockdown, and thus were mostly affected by it.

Goal
Stage 1: Supporting 250 families who are mostly affected in Jerusalem.
Project 2: Ramadan Food Basket
The Jerusalemites suffer from a policy of chronic impoverishment due to unfair taxes and fines in all walks of life. As a result, 78% of them live below the poverty line, and more than 80% of children live below the poverty line.
The Corona pandemic has aggravated the suffering of Jerusalemite families.
What will we do in Jerusalem for Life campaign?
We will provide food baskets for the families who need them most to support them in facing the repercussions of the coronavirus.

Goal
Stage 1: Providing food baskets for 250 families who are mostly affected in Jerusalem.
Project 3: Eid Clothing for Children
Eid al-Fitr will be received by Jerusalemites after long weeks of lockdown and after many families had lost the source of their living during the closure. This might prevent quite many children from feeling the joy of the Eid because of the economic situation.
What will we do in Jerusalem for Life campaign?
We will make children feel the joy of Eid through buying them new clothes which their families would not be able to provide.

Stage 1: Provide new clothes for 500 Jerusalemite children of most affected families.
