Today, the website of Deniz Feneri, www.denizfeneri.org.tr, has witnessed an incident of exceptional kindness.
Today, the website of Deniz Feneri, www.denizfeneri.org.tr, has witnessed an incident of exceptional kindness. In the scope of the project "Save a Life" in which the stories of people who about to break off the ties with life are shared with benefactors, Şengül Tayyare´s story was included in the website today. Published on Deniz Feneri´s website in the morning, Şengül Tayyare´s story was shared through several social network sites. Bountiful donators of Deniz Feneri were also informed of Şengül and her story via e-mail. 2,000 TL needed for the surgery of Şengül whose eyes are % 90 blind were collected in such a short time of two hours, a record in the project of "Save a Life". Now, Şengül is on the operation table. We thank to all Deniz Feneri donators whose charities will have become the sight and hope of Şengül in the rest of her life. So glad we have you.
