We are delighted to see our family growing day by day at Deniz Feneri Association. Our newly opened Southeastern Anatolia Regional Office and Logistics Center in Gaziantep marks another milestone in our journey of spreading kindness.
Since its inception in 1996, Deniz Feneri Association has been instrumental in reaching thousands of people in need, focusing solely on goodness. With the opening of our Southeastern Anatolia Regional Office and Logistics Center, we aim to reach and deliver aid more efficiently to those in need in the Southeastern Anatolia Region. Located in the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep, the Regional Office and Logistics Center are expected to address a significant need in Gaziantep and surrounding areas. The Southeastern Anatolia Regional Office is also prepared to intervene in neighboring provinces and regions during emergencies and disasters. Additionally, through our clothing store, identified individuals in need in Gaziantep will have regular access to our services.
During the opening speech, Av. Mehmet Cengiz, the President of Deniz Feneri Association, stated, "For 12 years, we have been living and breathing with Syria. As humanitarian organizations in Turkey, we will conduct our aid to Syria through this newly opened logistics center. Palestine has always been a wound in our hearts, but since October 7, it has become unbearable. It has become a matter of honor and dignity for all Muslims, indeed for all humanity. Hopefully, our Palestine aid operations will be coordinated through this regional office. Gaziantep is a significant city with a robust economy, and its residents are known for their generosity. Therefore, we decided to open the Southeastern Anatolia Logistics Center here. This center marks another step forward for us."
With the establishment of the Southeastern Anatolia Regional Office, Deniz Feneri Association continues to expand across Turkey, ensuring our presence in every area where help is needed. Previously, we have opened branches and representative offices in Kastamonu, Antalya, İzmir, Kocaeli, Erzurum, Şanlıurfa, Bursa, Ankara, Istanbul, and most recently in Gaziantep, further solidifying our commitment to serving communities throughout the country.
