Deniz Feneri Relief and Solidarity Association ("Deniz Feneri", "Association") takes all necessary technical and legal measures in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") for the processing of your personal data within the scope of its activities. Relevant individuals can access detailed information on the processing of their personal data, the transfer of personal data to third parties, the legal grounds for collecting personal data, and the rights specified in the KVKK through this information notice.

I. Processing Purposes of Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed by data controllers or designated individuals/legal entities under the following circumstances and conditions:

To implement social projects in the fields of food, clothing, education, health, and shelter in many parts of Turkey and the world,

To ensure the proper execution of guesthouses, soup kitchens, clothing stores, and vocational training programs established for the purpose of assisting needy individuals both domestically and internationally,

For the delivery of material and cash donations from donors and volunteer citizens to us through the procedures determined by our website and the association,

To ensure the rapid and cost-effective delivery of donations from donors and volunteers to beneficiaries in need,

For the announcement of our association's activities and aid campaigns via SMS, e-newsletters, and other communication channels,

For the planning and execution of service activities and various logistic activities,

To verify the accuracy and currency of the information conveyed to us,

To carry out our activities in accordance with international standards and to promote and develop the spirit of solidarity,

To ensure the security of our employees, guests, and association-owned buildings through camera recordings and other security measures and to control entries and exits,

For the preparation of official documents required by relevant laws and administrative regulations,

For the complete performance of contracts to which our association is a party and for the verification of the complete performance of these contracts by the contracting parties,

To ensure the legal security of individuals/legal entities in business relations with our association,

To include individuals who want to participate as association members/volunteers in activities carried out within our association,

For the preparation of official documents required by our association and for the proper conduct of processes related to these documents,

To ensure the efficient and effective use of vehicles and equipment delivered to our association's employees,

For the evaluation of job application processes of candidates applying to our association, the establishment of personal files of accepted job applicants, and the maintenance of our association's Human Resources policies,

For increasing the morale, motivation, performance level, satisfaction, interaction with each other and with our association, and ensuring their loyalty to our association among our employees,

For the detection of communication with our call centers or association telephones through voice and image recordings and the determination of the content,

For the fulfillment of obligations arising from employment contracts, including primarily payment of wages,

For the implementation of disciplinary processes in incidents that may occur within our association,

For conducting necessary quality and standard audits or for fulfilling other obligations determined by laws and regulations,

II. Transfer of Personal Data

Your processed personal data may be transferred, within the framework of the purposes and conditions specified by the KVKK:

To public and private individuals and institutions where social assistance projects are carried out for the fulfillment of our activities, and to our donors and volunteers,

To our suppliers, project partners, donors, and volunteers for the provision of social services,

To the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, the Directorate of Associations, and audit firms within the scope of social service activities subject to relevant legislation,

To audit firms, independent auditors, accounting firms/legal firms, private integrator firms, and legal firms for the fulfillment and audit of our obligations under relevant legislation,

To suppliers, donors, and volunteers for the preparation and implementation of strategies related to our social assistance projects,

To domestic and foreign private and public legal entities for increasing the visibility and brand value of our association, improving internet infrastructure, and maintaining its relevance,

To domestic and foreign individuals/legal entities and public institutions and organizations with which we cooperate for the realization of our association's activity areas and social service projects,

To software companies and technology firms both domestically and abroad for the creation of operating systems and databases of computer programs, ensuring program functionality, and performing maintenance and repair of the program,

To institutions/organizations providing digital data services for security, technology, and cloud services both domestically and abroad,

To occupational health and safety companies, hospitals, and healthcare institutions for emergency medical interventions and compliance with occupational health and safety obligations,

To banks and financial institutions for the execution of banking and financial transactions,

To solution partner companies providing repair, maintenance, and service operations, to our suppliers, and to companies operating in this field,

To our branches, suppliers, and to the Ministry of Interior Affairs, Directorate of Associations for the fulfillment of exchange, financial, and legal obligations and responsibilities and for compliance with laws,

To service companies for the realization of social events such as activities, conferences, celebrations, etc.,

To tourism companies, hotels, and organization companies for accommodation, transportation, and tourism purposes,

To the relevant meal and organization companies for the provision of meals, gifts, promotions, and similar services to our employees,

To project partners and suppliers for the promotion of our activities and aid campaigns,

III. Method of Personal Data Collection and Legal Basis

Your personal data is collected through application forms, websites, various contracts, all kinds of information forms, surveys, job application forms, employment contracts, social media applications, from our donors and volunteers, our suppliers, and our project partners through written, verbal, and digital notifications, call centers, and through verbal, written, or electronic channels via express consent or within the scope of other data processing conditions foreseen in the KVKK.

This information is obtained for the purpose of providing social service activities within the framework of the laws, enabling our association to provide social services, and fulfilling its legal responsibilities.

IV. Storage and Disposal of Personal Data

Our association stores personal data proportionally to the purpose of processing, and personal data is stored until the end of the period required by relevant legislation when the purpose and/or reason for processing cease to exist. When the purpose and reason for processing personal data cease to exist and after the statutory limitation periods for the fulfillment of our legal obligations have elapsed, personal data will be destroyed. The destruction and anonymization of personal data within the scope of exceptions arising from public service will be carried out in accordance with the relevant legal regulations.

V. Rights of the Data Subject

Individuals whose personal data are processed within our association have the following rights in accordance with Article 11 of the KVKK:

To request information if personal data has been processed,

To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, both domestically and abroad,

To request the correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrect and to request that the transaction made in this context be notified to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,

To request the deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the KVKK
